Dr Arockia Virgin Fernando is a Fertility Specialist, Obstetrician and Gynecologist at Cloud nine Fertility, HRBR, Kammanahalli centre. She has 15 years experience in the field of medicine, of which 9 years were in Obstetrics and Gynecology and 4 years in the field of Fertility Medicine, In Vitro Fertilization and Assisted Reproductive Techniques.
She has completed MBBS, DGO (OBG)(Bangalore Medical College), MBA Hospital Management, FRM (Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine)(IVI Spain). Before Cloud nine fertility, she had worked in St. Philomena’s, Motherhood and Nova IVI fertility chain. She is a topper and has presented case reports in conferences. She is interested in research, writing blogs and reviewing medical literature.

She is dedicated and skilful in handling patients with recurring IVF failures, thin endometrium, poor egg reserve, low AMH, multiple miscarriages, age above 35 years, PCOS, tubal infertility and endometriosis. She is interested in innovations and includes the latest form of treatments to address issues like thin endometrium using stem cells, testicular sperm aspiration, miscarriages using immunoglobulins and husband’s leucocyte preparation.
She is a member of IMA, KMC, FOGSI,BSOG and Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction. She is interested in international journals like Fertility and Sterility, Human Reproduction; associated with American Society of Reproductive Medicine, European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology and Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynecology.
