He graduated from KIMS, Hubli in 1999. He finished his postgraduate in Obstetrics & Gynecology from the prestigious Jawaharlal Institute of Medical Science & Research (JIPMER) Pondicherry. He has done several  research publications to his credit. He has also received several awards to his credit.
